Requirements - Applicant Rules

Interested in joining DiecastMessiah? Great! There are a few ways prospective members can go about sending in a application. Firstly, you can click on the link in the navi bar that will take you to the forums.

Secondly, in the event that you would rather send in a private application there, again, a link in the navi bar titled Application. New members may provide as much information as possible in the alotted boxes and it will be sent to Leaders and sack holders for review(Applicants who choose to use this function will have their application posted on the member discussion section in the forums).

A few things to keep in mind before applying.

* All new applicants are required to read linkshell conduct and event rules. While it is understood that they are lengthy and it is a lot of information to take in and remember all at once it is to ensure that DcM members are well taken care of. We want to ensure all our members are kept from feeling used, abused and wronged. We also wouldn't want anyone to waste time applying if they disagree with, or in general, don't feel like DcM is the right home for them.

All new members accepted into DiecastMessiah will have to complete a trial period of two weeks. If for any reason leaders/officers feel a new member is not meshing well with DcM or failing to provide the support their main job requires, said new members will be removed from the linkshell. While new members will obtain points within this trial period they will not be allowed to lot unless otherwise told to do so by a leader/officer.

** Please note that it can take anywhere from a few hours to, at the most, one week before new applicants are accepted/denied. Be paitent. If, after a week a responce has yet to be given, then please send an ingame /tell to Kozi or Kjin.

All application decisions made by leaders and officers are final. Nondebatable. Period. Do not harass, heckle or agrue with a leader or officer if you are denied. If, in the event an applicant is denied, its for a reason. Respect that and don't be childish.

FAQ's

Q: Whats the minimum job level required to apply?

A: 75 is the minimum level for both melee and support jobs. Applicants must also have at least two 75 jobs.

Q: I only really want to apply for one or two of the events that DcM does. Is that possible?

A: Yes. If, as an applicant, you only wish to join DcM for one or two of the offered events please make sure to include what events those are on your application. Understand though, that some of the events have a number limitation. If that limitation is filled your application will be denied or put on file for later review.

Q: How can I tell what jobs DcM is recruiting?

A: At the top of the navibar(left hand side of the screen) is Recruitment Status. DcM will have four different levels of recruitment. "Open" being all jobs. "Selective" being only a few jobs with applicants apparent exceptional knowledge/gear of, and for, the job. "Job name". If a job name is listed i.e "White mage" then at that time we are accepting only applicants with that job properly geared and leveled. If you lack a job we are currently recruiting, try back again in a few weeks/months. The needs and wants of DcM are always shifting. And finally "Closed" meaning just that, we are at that moment closed, and will not be taking any new applicants.

Q: DcM's recruitment Status is closed. Can I still apply?

A: Yes. Applicants are more than welcome to continue to send in applications while DcM's status is closed. Please be mindful though, that we will not be responding to applicants. They will be filed, and if at a later date needed pulled back out for reviews at a later time.

Q: My application was just denied. What can I do?

A: Be paitent. Often rejection of an application isn't for personal reasons. Don't take it to heart. Maybe the events you've applied for are full or we aren't currently accepting the jobs you've applied under. Try applying again in a few weeks/months if you're heart is set on joining DcM.

Q: I'd like to join the salvage group, who should I speak to?

A: Kjin is incharge of recruitments/running FrogChorus.
